The Clone Wars Weekly Roundup

Welcome my friends to an abbreviated TCW Weekly Roundup.

The Gungan Appreciation movement continues in this week’s episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. After the Gungan Grand Army saves the people of Mon Cala in the last arc, we now get to return to the beautiful garden planet of Naboo.

In other TCW news, Mania.com has a fun interview with Ashley Eckstein and Yahoo TV has a great interview with Matt Lanter which includes this juicy tidbit;

“The season is actually called “Battle Lines,” which is indicative of what’s to come. There’s more character development. We have some new characters coming in. There are characters that we possibly know already from the films. These characters are wearing down from the war. Their thoughts, opinions, and ideas of the war and good versus evil are changing. I think that’s all very interesting.”

A preview synopsis of this week’s new TCW episode Shadow Warrior, from Star Wars.com:

“Who a person truly is cannot be seen with the eye.”
When the leader of the Gungans, Boss Lyonie, is injured it’s discovered there is an uncanny resemblance between the Boss and Jar Jar Binks. Binks must sway his people from rising against the Naboo and stopping a Separatist invasion led by General Grievous.

Well that’s it for this week; we will be back with a longer round-up next week. Until then keep your Buy’ce on and your blaster handy.

Pete
