Rumor alert: J. J. Abrams to direct Episode VII

If this happens, I’d be thrilled.

The Wrap is saying that Kathleen Kennedy “has been courting” the Star Trek director for the job.

What’s the source? “an individual with knowledge of the production,” (oh boy.)

Also,  Ben Affleck (Famed for his incredible role in “Daredevil”) may be involved.

Variety is also reporting that Lucasfilm is “is closing the deal” with Abrams.

Should the Trek and Wars worlds collide? What do you think?
