An absolutely incredible group of costuming fans of that galaxy far far away showed in force to compete in the annual Star Wars costume contest at Dragon Con. The costumes represented countless hours of effort to produce original, creative and inspiring pieces to show off at one of the world’s premiere cosplay conventions in Atlanta GA.
A selection of judges representing fan groups and more presided over the event which was presented by the Rebel Legion.
A steady stream of Jedi knights, scoundrels and more Tusken raiders than you can shake a Gaffi Stick at, all filed in to the Imperial Ballroom of the Marriott. Participants had to attend 1 pre-judging session in order to qualify to participate.
Right up front, I have to highlight my personal favorite costume of the event (and the winner) an absolutely incredible Mythos Obi-Wan. (All Photos credit – Giovanny Güechá)
