Rumor Alert: Is a Maul, Kenobi, and Young Luke Spin-off Movie In The Works?

According to Cosmic Book News, Lucasfilm might be developing a Star Wars spin-off movie set between Episodes III and IV featuring Darth Maul, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and a 5-year old Luke Skywalker on Tatooine.

I doubt this is the case mainly because Disney really seems to be shying way from anything in the prequel era.
