Star Wars Bookworms is a monthly podcast but we have gone above and beyond this month releasing a second episode with (maybe) a third on the way! In this episode we are joined by Expanded Universe expert Geralyn Bray, a blogger over at the fansite Roqoo Depot. At the top of the show we give her a short interview to learn more about her favorite things in Star Wars.
Force ghosts, Force ghosts everywhere! We also discuss the Episode VII rumors that both Ian McDiarmid and Ewan McGregor may return to the Star Wars movies. As Force ghosts, clones, holocron projections? Will McGregor get a stand alone Kenobi movie?
In this first of hopefully three August episodes we had the pleasure of interviewing The Clone Wars comic writer Justin Aclin. Justin was the writer for the two recent The Clone Wars comic digests Defenders of the Lost Temple and The Smuggler’s Code.

In this July episode our hosts welcome guest Adam Farmer. Unlike other guests they have had in the past, Adam is not a Star Wars blogger or podcast host. He is a fan of the show and a casual Star Wars fan who is somewhat new to the Star Wars Expanded Universe. He brought a nice fresh perspective.
At the top of the show Aaron, Teresa, and Adam talked about the lack of SWEU news coming out of San Diego Comic Con and how they wished they were at Star Wars Celebration Europe. Aaron and Teresa also talked about how they were excited to attend Dragon Con in August. The conversation also drifted into Star Wars Episode VII casting rumors which of course led to a little bit of fan casting.

What better way to start the Summer than with some Star Wars Expanded Universe talk? Unfortunately our regular host Teresa was unable to join Aaron this episode, but we were happy to welcome Mark Hurliman (Star Wars Report and Star Wars Beyond the Films podcasts) as a guest host. Also joining us to share her expert opinions was Tricia Barr (writer for Star Wars Insider). Two amazing and very knowledgeable guests in one episode!
Aaron and the two guests first shared what Star Wars related things they have been up to lately. Mark talked about his excitement for reading Kenobi and Crucible and how he hates getting behind on Expanded Universe materials. Tricia shared how she has recently had an article featured on the cover of Star Wars Insider #142, a piece on Padme Amidala. Aaron talked about his recent trip to San Francisco and how he had the amazing privilege of visiting the Lucasfilm and ILM offices.
At the top of the episode we discussed the announcement of the new animated series, Star Wars Rebels. We are not a Star Wars animation podcast but a new animated series is bound to effect the Expanded Universe in some way and we discussed some of the possibilities.
For our first review we covered the comic volume Darth Vader and the Ghost Prison. We all pretty much agreed that this was one of our favorite comics to come out recently. Dark and gritty with a bunch of surprises… just how I like my comics.
