Play

Welcome back to the Star Wars Report!

This episode is a The Clone Wars news and discussion special!

We are excited (as most are), and eagerly await, for the next episode of The Clone Wars, with the return of Darth Maul, voiced by Star Wars fan and actor Sam Witwer! Woot!

We also talk a bit about Dengar!

This episode of the Star Wars Report is brought to you by Toy Hutt!

This time we look at a Star Wars Saga, Executor edition, Dengar!

Our primary focus on this episode though was discussion of The Clone Wars episode “Bounty”! We all really enjoyed this episode, particularly the progression of Asajj Ventress’ character.

Hope you enjoy this episode of the Star Wars Report, and remember, many Bothans died to bring you this podcast!

Award Winning Action! – SWR #32

Play

Hello everyone! Welcome back to the latest episode of the Star Wars Report!

On this episode of the Star Wars Report, Bethany, Riley and Mark are joined by Nathan Butler for a special fan audio awards segment. Listen in to all those who won awards, including yours truly!

Also, will we see more of Mortis in The Clone Wars? Considering what Star Wars author James Luceno had to say in a Facebook chat he had a while ago, perhaps so!

Also, on this episode of the Star Trek Report we discuss time travel…..

Do you think it’s likely that Star Wars Underworld will have time travel in it, or would you rather time travel stay in such franchises as Star Trek and Doctor Who?

This episode of the Star Wars Report is sponsored by Toy Hutt, your source for great toys and action figures, games and trinkets from that galaxy far, far away!

Bethany admired a Power of the Force Luke Skywalker figure, and a Star Wars Sideshow Rebel Commando!

We had sad news to bring to you: actor Ian Abercrombie, voice of Palpatine in The Clone Wars, and an actor with a career that spanned many other prestigious roles, passed away. His talent and personality will be missed.

Hope you enjoy this week’s episode!

Rock Buddies! – SWR #31

Play

Greetings exalted ones!

On this episode of the Star Wars Report, Mark, Riley and Bethany are joined by special guest host Teresa Delgado! Teresa is a friend Bethany and Riley met at Fan Days, and has her own blog, and podcast.

Star Wars rock buddies made it into the show this time….

The Old Republic cost nearly $200 million dollars! Cool authors announce they’ll be attending Celebration Six. Dave Filoni tells us of a charity auction of a poster he designed that’s been signed by him, Daniel Logan, George Lucas and others. There’s still a chance to bid on that auction if you’re interested!

The war is on! William Shatner promises no peace in response George Takei’s Star Peace proposal. Also, we really can’t wait ’till we see Darth Maul in The Clone Wars.

This episode of the Star Wars Report was made possible by Toy Hutt! Toy Hutt is a  great source for Star Wars toys and action figures, games and more!

Since we can’t seem to stop talking about Darth Maul, we picked two cool Maul figures for you guys to look at this time!

We also talked about Oprah’s interview with George Lucas and our excitement approaching the release of The Phantom Menace in 3D. We ended with a very interesting email from Andrew Halliday that sparked quite the conversation towards the end of the show!

Hope you guys enjoy!

“I ate them! I ate them all!!” – SWR #30

Play

Welcome back to the Star Wars Report podcast!

On this episode of the Star Wars Report, we talked a little bit about the last episode, and fallout from the RANT OF DOOM! (It wasn’t really a rant of doom, but I’ve always wanted to use the word ‘doom’ in one of these posts. Also, beware clicking on the fiery image of doom below, something might happen!)

We also talked about goal setting, and some of our goals for the Star Wars Report.

We mentioned Ewan McGregor’s surprise upon learning that the Phantom Menace was being re-released in 3D.

Sam Witwer was a zombie soldier in The Walking Dead!?

Sadly, Bob Anderson died at the age of 89, after contributing to some of the best known movie franchises in the world.

On a more upbeat note, the world has gone to the dogs, and the dogs have gone to the Bark Side!

This episode of craziness is brought to you by Toy Hutt! Your source for great Star Wars toys and action figures, games and more!

We admired two different Barriss Offee figures.

Then we discussed Underworld!

Um no, not that one. Star Wars: Underworld, the oft mentioned Star Wars live action series that’s in the works! (Which also shares the name of a little known Star Wars comic made back in the early 2000s.)

George Lucas retires? Or does he?

And finally, we discuss the burgers of the dark side, and much hilarity ensues. Thank you Eric for pointing out this story and the comments! And a thank you to all listeners who email us, we really appreciate it!
